First Public Workshop on October 3

The first Public Workshop for the Morris Canal Greenway Plan will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 4-8 PM in City Hall, 280 Grove Street, Jersey City, NJ.

The Public Workshop will be an opportunity for the public to review and provide feedback on proposed alignments for both short and long term routes. The Project Team would like to hear your perspective and insights in order to develop a Greenway that serves the bicycling and walking needs of the public, young and old. The Workshop will include an Open House for one-on-one conversation with members of the Project Team, a presentation by the Project Team, and an interactive mapping session.

Other topics to be discussed include the Greenway design and interpretive historic themes to incorporate along the route.
